Before I start babbling...did I win the HDTV? WOOT!! Purchased a stand for it this evening. Getting an outlet and HD DVR installed Friday. Life is good.

My friend Matt McCoy (the dude who designed the Rock Sellout site) designed a logo for me to use for the 2009 roller derby season. Ceci, note the background change. I'm pleased with how it turned out:



I plan to sell stickers, buttons, and a variety of shirts at the roller derby events next year...all proceeds will go to the roller league for funding the afterparties I'll help them book. Speaking of afterparties, it looks like one of my favorites, Ringo Deathstarr, is willing to come up and play. While nothing is confirmed at this point, May is looking best.

I also started helping promote the league on Myspace this week. It's something I enjoy and could easily take off their hands. I already took care of the simple stuff...made sure all links were working, made sure the calendar was started, spaced text properly, started adding local peeps to the friends list, etc. Feels good to get involved in something locally. I miss the Green Bay soccer league more than you could ever imagine.
